The Peacemakers is one of Karl Jenkins most recent large-scale compositions and is dedicated to the memory of all those who lost their lives during armed conflict.
This fantastic performance will take place on Saturday 14 March 2015 at 7.30 pm at the Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall.
The programme includes the inspirational young pianist, Joseph Moog, who will perform the Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor. Twice a winner at the International Classical Music Awards, in 2012 Joseph received the Award for Young Artist of the Year, followed in 2014 by the Award for Solo Instrumentalist of the Year. Joseph has been extolled as "the most interesting interpreter of his generation" and critics are hailing him as one of the "most remarkable phenomena in the current music scene".
The 200+ strong NTU Choir, led by conductor Matthew Hopkins, will finish the evening with Hubert Parry's powerful anthem, I Was Glad. All in all, not an evening to be missed!
