FHP Student Living sponsors NTU sports kits
17 December 2015
FHP Student Living will be providing £15,000 worth of sponsorship for Nottingham Trent University’s sports clubs, thanks to links with FHP Partner and alumnus David Hargreaves (BSc Hons Urban Estates Surveying 1985).
A keen rugby player and coach, and a previous Chair of NTU’s Alumni Advisory Board, David said: “I’m delighted to see this agreement come to fruition. Nottingham Trent University is special to me, and I have fond memories of studying for my degree, and playing in the rugby team. I will be proud to see the FHP Student Living logo on NTU’s shirts.”
Fellow FHP Partner, John Proctor, is also keen to see the sponsorship come to fruition as his son, Chris Proctor, is a current student at NTU and plays hockey for Beeston and England’s U21s teams.
In return for this generous sponsorship, the FHP Student Living logo will feature on all of the playing shirts of NTU’s BUCS* teams. The company are also interested in doing house-hunting talks for sports club members.
NTU’s Director of Sport, James Hayter, said: “We are extremely grateful for the support FHP Student Living has given for sport at NTU. The University’s strong link with David Hargreaves has made the relationship with FHP feel very special. I am hopeful that this is the beginning of a long partnership between our two organisations.”
