Matt Berry returns to Bonington

We were delighted to welcome BAFTA winning alumnus Matt Berry back to campus yesterday.
Matt Berry (Contemporary Arts 1997) was back in town with his band, The Maypoles, for a gig at the nearby Rescue Rooms, and jumped at the chance of touring the City site.
It had been almost 20 years since he was last on campus but was excited to see his old workshops in the Bonington and Waverley buildings and the changes that have taken place to Newton, Arkwright, the Library and the Students' Union.
He said: “Like me, I know that students will reflect on their time at NTU as the best years of their lives – they just don’t realise it yet!”
