Nottingham Creative IP Project Launch

Led by Nottingham Trent University, the Nottingham Creative IP Project will assist both businesses and students in the creative industries to gain a better understanding of how they can more effectively protect, manage and exploit their ideas and intellectual property.
Through a series of themed workshops, industry experts, experienced lawyers and Nottinghamshire creative businesses are invited to share their knowledge and experience on the challenges, pitfalls and opportunities of working in the creative sector.
Companies and graduates with business ideas, will also be offered the opportunity to benefit from pro bono law clinics, delivered by students of Nottingham Law School, guided by experience IP lawyers.
The project will conclude with the publication of a Effective IP Guide drawn from the lessons learned during this innovative project.
Interested alumni are invited to come along and find out more at a launch event on Thursday 15 May 2014 from 6 pm to 8 pm in NTU’s Bonington Lecture Theatre and Atrium.
