Art and Design Christmas Fair 2017

22 November 2017

The Art and Design Christmas Fair marks the start of the festive season here at Nottingham Trent University. Comprising of over 25 designers and makers, this year’s fair is set to offer an array of unique and handmade gifts – all carefully crafted by our students and alumni.

This year we’re delighted to welcome some new exhibitors to the fair, including illustrator and textile designer Ruth Jefferies, ceramicist Jackie Norbury, and giftware designer Helen Bartholomew. They’ll be accompanying some established favourites, including Jenna Round, Kat Christou, and Martin Rayment.

Joining our alumni are a whole host of current art and design students presenting a selection of exclusive hand-made gifts and curio, not available on the high street.

You'll have the opportunity to buy ceramic and glass by Decorative Arts, illustrations, drawings and stationary by Fine Art and Graphic Design, and clothing, decorations, stocking fillers and other quirky items from Animation and Product Design.

Money raised by students goes towards funding their own projects and work.

You can view a selection of items from our stall holders via the fair's Facebook page.

Opening times:

Friday 1 December - 12pm-7pm.

Join us from 12 pm to 7 pm for the special late opening. Mince pies and wine will be served from 5 pm and the event is open to staff, students and the general public, no rsvp required.

Saturday 2 December, 10am-4pm.
