Angela Kay, who trained at Clifton College of Education, founded NCT, steering its development as an innovative educational and music charity winning national awards for its visionary work.
Thanks to her enthusiasm, thousands of young people and adults have learned to love and to make music. NCT’s activities encompass children’s choirs, chamber choirs, amateur and semi-professional orchestral work plus a groundbreaking outreach programme.
Angela received an MBE in 2014 for services to music in Nottinghamshire.
