17 February 2017

Do you have a business challenge you would like help solving? Would you like to understand how students and graduates can add value to your business? Would you like to raise your company’s profile at Nottingham Trent University?

Back for 2017, NTU’s Grads4Nottm could be the perfect event for you!

Our 2016 Grads4Nottm event was shortlisted for the Times Higher Education Award for “Outstanding Employer Engagement”. Grads4Nottm has been widely recognised as a valuable scheme, which brings employers of all sizes and industries together with student talent and supports keeping local talent in Nottingham. Last year’s scheme saw 120 students placed across 40 local businesses, and it has proven itself equally as beneficial for employers, for instance the Grads4Nottm scheme saved an employer £10,000 in design costs.

We think that 2017 is going to be the best year yet! This year NTU are calling out to all Nottinghamshire based business that have an interesting and innovative real-life business challenge that they would like our students to help solve during a two week work experience pleacement.

Students are matched to your business based on the requirements of your challenge. You will host them for two weeks whilst they work on your business challenge. All students will present back at the showcase event, held at NTU, on the final day, which is also a great opportunity to promote your business and to network with and access NTU’s wider talent pool.

You will need to be able to accommodate a selected team of NTU students (minimum of 2) between 12 June – 23 June 2017. More information on how to submit a business challenge to the scheme is available here.
