Network spring / summer 2016

All Nottingham Trent alumni will receive Network, your alumni magazine once a year and regular eNewsletters for as long as we have your
current contact details.

Download the spring / summer 2016 issue
which celebrates Nottingham Trent University's recent success and includes news on: the Queen's Anniversary Prize, how to get involved through the Alumni Fellowship Programme, plus news on alumni - from Pieminister to Foo Fighters!  Of course, there are still your old favourites too - Nottingham News and weddings!

BUT we couldn't fit all our news in the magazine, so here's some bonus content for you:

NTU charity helps prevent abuse: The Safer Living Foundation is a unique charity aiming to reduce sexual offending through rehabilitation.

Grow a tenner: A “grow a tenner” scheme, organised by the NTU Employability team, has seen students raise over £13,000 for the John van Geest Cancer Research Centre - whilst also enhancing their employability skills.

Students pedal safety ideas: Challenged by construction company McGee Product Design students have come up with innovative ways to make trucks safer for cyclists.

Tailored training gives fashion designers the competitive edge: MA Fashion Futures lecturer Liz Bolt devised and ran a training programme for more than 180 Li & Fung’s designers.

Where on earth? Did you know that we have alumni groups across the globe? Whether you live in a particular country, are from there or are just planning a visit or business trip, we can put you in touch with others who have a link to NTU.

Nottingham Law School news round-up: At Nottingham Law School’s Centre for Business and Insolvency Law, 2016 got off to a globetrotting start.

Wolfgang makes beeline for award: Last November, alumnus Wolfgang Buttress secured the BIE Gold Award for Architecture and Landscape for the UK pavilion at the Milan World Expo 2015.

Submit stories for consideration for the next issue of Network, or for use on the website and social media, by emailing alumni@ntu.ac.uk. We really do enjoy hearing from you!
