Ask for your Alumni Reunion Pack today!

Are you thinking of planning a reunion but don’t know where to start? The Alumni Reunion Pack is designed to help you with your plans - no matter how small or large your group may be.

The pack, put together in association with Experience Nottinghamshire, contains tips on arranging your reunion and explains how the Alumni Office can help you to get in touch with some of your 'old' friends. It also provides information on venues and hotel accommodation in Nottingham. Packs are free – all we ask is that you let us know about your reunion, and maybe share some photographs with us after the event.

If you are planning to return to Nottingham for your reunion, Experience Nottinghamshire can advise you on what’s hot and happening in the city around the time of your event. Whether or not you are planning a get-together, they can provide you with information and discounts on hotel accommodation, venues and events in the city. Ten steps for reunion success

1. Submit details of your proposed reunion to alumni@ntu.ac.uk. If you haven't yet done so, don't forget to become a member of this site so that you can add a message to the Reunions discussion forum in the Alumni Community area. It's a great place to pick up ideas from other reunion organisers.

2. Check out the availability of possible venues and decide what type of event you want.

3. Plan at least six months ahead.

4. Ask the Alumni Office to forward your invitations on by email or post to any class mates you've lost contact with.

5. All replies received by the Alumni Office will be forwarded to you.

6. Send out further information to those who have expressed an interest in attending.

7. You might want to think about asking people for photos of your time at the University in order to theme your event.

8. Don’t forget to ask all of your reunion friends to update the Alumni Office with their latest contact details.

9. RELAX AND ENJOY, but don’t forget to send in news and photos from your reunion to alumni@ntu.ac.uk.

10. Do it all again next year!
